I re-read "Tlön, Uqbar, Orbis Tertius" earlier this year (or maybe it was last fall already) but I did not pick up on the dozenalism references that you so kindly pointed out. This has a lot of parallels to my own niche interest in dodecaphonics, or twelve-tone music. Twelve-tone music and serialism might have had more influence in the world as an artistic-intellectual movement, than dozenalism, but its still limited. Still, I like thinking in twelves!
I don't know much about music theory, but despite my harsh words on its failure I have a bit of sympathy for Dozenalism as they are technically correct, but nonetheless I can see why they have failed.
By the way, I may be doing another commentary on "Tlon, Uqbar, Orbis Tertius" in the future, along with a few other Borges Commentaries In general.
